Recording Session at Sun Studio in Memphis and Fundraiser for Camphill Village Kimberton Hills

The inaugural project of Musarity marked a significant milestone in its journey. It originated from an audacious idea conceived by Simon Buss in 2012 while he was traveling along the Mississippi, immersed in the rich blues culture of the Delta. The concept revolved around musicians from diverse corners of the world coming together and forging connections through the universal language of music. This, coupled with the desire to make a positive impact through music, struck a chord with Simon and became a eureka moment.

Project Execution: After a year of meticulous planning, musicians from various parts of the United States and Germany gathered for an extraordinary endeavor. Over the course of five days, they rehearsed, played a live show, and embarked on a remarkable recording session at the iconic Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Many of the participants had not previously met or played together. However, from the moment they struck the first notes, this diverse group hit it off and established a profound musical bond.

Supporting Camphill Village Kimberton Hills: The project embraced a philanthropic dimension by dedicating its efforts to support Camphill Village Kimberton Hills. Following the completion of the album, three members of the group visited Camphill Kimberton Hills in Pennsylvania. They presented a donation and handed over 300 CDs to be sold, with the aim of further contributing to the cause. In addition, they performed an acoustic release show for the entire village, creating a memorable experience that brought joy and inspiration to all.

Impact and Donation: As a result of the project, 300 CDs and a donation of $300 were contributed to Camphill Village Kimberton Hills. This contribution aimed to support the community’s endeavors and enhance the lives of its residents through the power of music. The funds raised and the CDs provided not only provided tangible support but also served as a symbol of unity and collaboration between musicians and the residents of Camphill Village Kimberton Hills.

Conclusion: The recording session at Sun Studio and the subsequent fundraiser for Camphill Village Kimberton Hills exemplified the core principles of Musarity. It demonstrated the transformative potential of music in connecting people from diverse backgrounds while simultaneously serving as a catalyst for positive change. Through this project, Musarity laid a solid foundation for future endeavors, inspiring others to embrace the universal language of music to make a meaningful impact in the world.

A Live Tour in Germany and Prague – Raising Funds for Syrian Refugee Children

A group of talented musicians from the USA, France, Germany, and Italy came together on stage to create a memorable music experience. From blues and country to polka and waltz, this extraordinary tour showcased the unique blend of styles and diverse backgrounds of twenty artists. Instruments like the alphorn, electric guitar, washboard, harmonica, and more converged to create an exceptional sound. The tour consisted of five concerts held in Germany and Prague.

Supporting Refugee Children: The heart of this tour was its commitment to making a difference in the lives of refugee children from Syria. All proceeds from the concerts were dedicated to supporting music programs for these children in the Bruchsal area. The primary goal was to facilitate their integration into the community by providing resources and lessons for cultural activities, including music and sports.

Unity through Charitable Donations: The project was made possible through the generous support of charitable donations from both companies and individuals. Their contributions helped ensure that the refugee children received the necessary materials and resources to explore and engage in artistic and physical activities, fostering their well-being and cultural integration.

Impact and Donation: At the conclusion of the tour, a total of 3,333€ was raised and donated to the music programs for refugee children from Syria. This financial support served as a vital investment in their future, offering opportunities for personal growth, creative expression, and a sense of belonging within their new community.

Conclusion: The Live Tour in Germany and Prague stands as a testament to the power of music in bringing people together and creating positive change. Through the unity of musicians from different countries and their commitment to supporting refugee children, this project exemplified the potential for music to transcend borders and nurture integration.
